Self Empowerment Workshop (SEW)

For those of you who have completed your IIASK, Inc. African Spirituality classes and have been anxiously
awaiting the opportunity to participate in the SEW retreat we are pleased to announce our upcoming schedule.
The Self Empowerment Workshop (SEW) is a six day intensive retreat filled with ancient rituals of possession
of ones guardian spirits, protective guides, and ancestors facilitated by Iyalode Yeyefini Efunbolade and her
trained priests and mediums. The initiate will be impacted and their life choice process considerably changed by
uncovering many of the spiritual, emotional, and psychological blocks that have dis-empowered, angered, and
sometimes immobilized them. Facing these issues and using rituals to transcend some of the trauma inherited
from the enslavement of Africans in the Diaspora such as molestation, rape, abuse, neglect and abandonment
has helped many be more successful in their lives.
Dates: The next Self Empowerment Workshop is scheduled for December 2007 in South Florida, the specific
location will be given with your registration deposit receipt.
Prerequisite: To register you must have completed the six introductory Level I African Spirituality classes
offered by IIASK, Inc. or receive a waiver from Iyalode Yeyefini Efunbolade. Arrangements for required level
II SEW Prep. classes will be discussed with each person after the retreat deposit is received.
Tuition: $1200.00 which includes lodging and meals for 6 days, all rituals and ceremonies.
Payment Plan: A non refundable $300.00 deposit will be due by September 2007 Payment in full is due by
November 1, 2007
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel after October 23 you will forfeit 1/3 of your deposit.
There will be no refunds after November 1, 2007.
A minimum of 6 participants is required to reserve the retreat site so please send your deposit ASAP.
Transportation: Each participant is responsible for their own transportation to and from the retreat site.
