• Inspite of us being scattered in different locations we have been able to stay connected to the spirit of Africa through on going ceremonies and conferences all over the world • The ancestors bless those who work tirelessly to connect people of the Diaspora and give us values, worth and a place in history • Many blessings are coming to our unsung heroes and community leaders • The Africans in the Diaspora must step up this year to a greater degree and claim their rich illustrious history and legacy • The challenges this year will be recognizing our individual power and using it for the unification of African people • We must embrace our common decent and work together globally to put programs in place in each community These things will empower us spiritually, personally and economically • We must recognize the special purpose each one of us has, perfect that which you are the king or queen of so that when people come to you they are able to get what they need. All of us are cultural custodians • Put things in place for the next 9 years • We have much money but we don’t know how to tap into our wealth • We have ideas and concepts that we throw away on all levels • We must be the leaders of our own destiny • Each one of us has the responsibility to be a leader to ourselves, to our families, our communities to continue to inspire, support and to work towards leaving a rich legacy • Men and women of the Diaspora must step up as parents, care givers, teachers and mentors for our race • This year we must conduct in every community on the first day of spring (March 21) a Unification ceremony following the ceremony we must hold a series of no less than 3 conferences to discuss and implement plans for change domestic issues and economic empowerment. These conferences are not only for the elite but for the masses, all have something to contribute • Have a day for ancestor reverence to affirm and clarify the role of men and women so that we will know our worth and our value • This negative reading reflects that there is much more work to do to turn around the state of Africans in the Diaspora
